Commercial Project Manager
Summary of Role:
- The commercial project manager is responsible for the overall execution, schedule, and quality of a commercial build. This position will interface directly with subcontractors, engineers, and owners to facilitate on-time decision making, communicate issues and changes, and provide regular status updates to subcontractors and owners.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Review and understand project drawings from architects, engineers, and designers
- Manage subcontractor schedules and mobilizations
- Hold regular contractor meetings to discuss schedule, issues, and information needs.
- Review subcontractor work for quality and adherence to plans
- Plan and coordinate material deliveries
- Assist subcontractors with site readiness for their work
- Maintain a neat and orderly jobsite
- Regularly communicate status updates and information needs to operations team, engineers, and owners.
Secondary Responsibilities:
- Miscellaneous framing and punch list work
Education/Experience:
- Bachelors in construction management and/or degree + adequate construction experience. Experience is weighted more heavily than education
- Microsoft Product suite
- Procore knowledge preferred
- Understands engineered drawings and architectural plans
- 2+ years carpentry experience recommended
- Ability to run lifts, telehandlers, skid steers and other equipment
- Commercial building code knowledge preferred, but can be trained.
Pay Range:
- $80-110k, DOE.
